Dear citizens of nook.
It has come to the attention of this office, that indeed the natives are restless.
I call on Little Miss - keeper of the giggles to make us all laugh- if she is still nooking that is.
Furthermore, hitherto, and in the fullness of time, and with the benefit of hindsight, having said that, let me say this- you know the routine.
I DECLARE FRIDAY 28TH OF SEPTEMBER TO BE SMILEY DAY.
IT IS THE DUTY OF ALL NOOKSTER TO GIVE STRANGERS A SMILE. FOR THE NOOKSTER THAT RECEIVES THE MOST SMILES IN RESPONSE TO STRANGER SMILES (BETTER MAKE THAT UNKNOWN PERSON) THERE WILL BE A SIGNIFICANT PRIZE DONATED BY YOUR MAYOR.

Sorry Little Miss has been in new relationship hibernation. But She is slowly merging out.
I know this is a heavy load little miss, but the nooksters are in need of some serious happy.
If you have the time and energy, your mayor would be most pleased if you could spread some giggles.

That is a big ask. I will try. I like to giggle lots, but usually after a few glasses of wine. Well I will go home open the bottle of Champage that I have in the fridge and try my best to think of something that will make you giggle.

Welcome back Shadowmaster! And happy birthday for last Tuesday.
I didn’t find out about Smiley Day until I got home from holiday, at which point I’d only made one stranger a “smile victim” - an adorable, mischevious toddler who saw fit to hug my sister’s legs in Best & Less for no apparent reason - and yes, he did smile back.
But I guess I’d better save my Stranger Smiles for Sunday… I remember once I actually ran out of smiles… Not a good day for the customers…
Anyway, hope all’s well in the office of the Mayor! Many smiles and a big pat for Shadow.
